I need help convincing my mom!:p?

Hi, so I need help convincing my mom into letting me and my brother fly back to NY to visit our dad! We just moved to a different state, right? So me and my brother miss our old friends and our dad back in New York, my dad has mentioned on the phone about bringing us back up there to visit for a while. I have only seen my dad a couple times this year so I really want to see him. But my mom is very stubborn about letting us visit him because she doesn't feel that we are safe when were with him:p We live right next to an airport that has direct flights right to where my dad lives + the airport is VERY small so we wouldn't have to be in some big scary airport. So yeah, what should I do everyone? Thanks <3
