I'm a minor flying myself and i have some questions?

I don't think I've ever checked in online, but as for your other questions, your parents can accompany you all the way to the departure gate right before you board your plane. I've been to the Vancouver Airport once, and I don't remember anything different from the routines in the US. Lastly, chips are fine, but bringing ramen would be pointless because the plane has no hot water, and it'd be too messy anyway. Hope that helps :)
